Our Camping Day

 Today Mike and I went out to go camping. We drove up towards Red Fleet and found this beautiful little spot.

There was a little creek that ran through right by our camp. It sounded so peaceful at night. And Mike enjoyed panning for gold in it... I think he has a new addictive hobby.

 The Sunset was so beautiful.

 

 

We made hobo dinners and ate by the fire. It was so nice to lay out underneath the stars and have some time to ourselves.

Easter 2015

We spent our Easter Sunday in Dry Fork with the Family. The weather wasn't as great as I was hoping, it was rather windy and cold actually. But we still had a fun time.

Mike and my dad dug up the river bed getting more dirty for their gold panning machine.

Dylan hacked apart some wood with a pick ax

My mom and Harley recreated the Little Mermaid scene.

Then we went home.

I made a Lemon Coconut Cake and we had family dinner all together. 

Easter Eggs

Easter is my favorite holiday. I always decorate eggs with the kids.

I made these weird little minions.

Harley made Olaf from frozen.

Michael's Birthday

Today was Mikes Birthday.

We went out to the river and he panned for Gold with the new Gold Mining Kit my parents got him.

He was pretty excited about that dirt. lol

While he ran the dirt I hiked up the tailings (giant mounds of rocks) and searched for ones to add to my rock garden.

I climbed up and down about 4 or 5 times with rocks to take home. I took a whole bucket home.

I wrote him a Birthday Heart note instead of doing the traditional card.

My parents made him a Cheese Cake and we spent the evening with my family.
