Our Saturday Adventures

Today was the first day we were able to harvest something from our garden. Our spinach was leafy and ready to pick. It tastes SO much better than store spinach, its unbelievable. I'm so proud of our little box garden and plants. Its somewhat fulfilling to produce your own food.

Later this afternoon we went for a drive up to the green river to hike around and enjoy the good weather. It was such a beautiful drive.

There were these horses wandering around together. I dont know if someone owns them or if they are wild. Are there wild horses in Utah anymore?
I found this cute little desert flower growing on this cactus.

After our hike we went to my parents house and found them in the work shop finishing the go cart. They covered the roll bars in foam and were ready to ride.

A Day with the Grandparents

Today we went out to the hills to enjoy the little bit of good weather this weekend gave us.
My grandma and I hiked this hill to collect rocks for our gardens. We found Two 5 gallon buckets worth of cool ones. And we had to pack those buckets back down with us. o.O
Michael and my Grandpa sighted in his new scope and blew up some tanerite. The explosion from it shook the hill we were on and sent rocks sliding down that almost took us with them. Scared us to death!
Altogether it was a fun day, and the weather was too beautiful to not be outdoors.

Davids High School Graduation

Today was Davids High School Graduation. He graduated with a class of over 300 kids.
The weather was very cold and windy, and we were all afraid it was going to rain.

Everyone was cuddled up in blankets and sleeping bags, trying not to shiver to death before the ceremony was over.
I was standing in the perfect spot to catch all the students getting their diplomas with the camera.
We're going to miss David living with us, and we wish him luck in his future endeavors and schooling.

Meeting Cian

Cian finally was able to come home last night. He's doing so good!
They say when woman hold babies they want one, but I think that's more true for men. Watching Michael with this little guy was SO cute it melts you heart. <3
He held him for 30 seconds before turning to me and saying "babe, do you want to have a baby?" Haha
Babies are contagious but hopefully we don't catch that fever for awhile.

Dad's Birthday

Happy Birthday to my amazing father!
He's crazy and has a weird sense of humor but we love him lol
We've had a lot of great adventures and we will have way more in the years to come.
Im so blessed to call him My dad.

This is a picture of him and my sister long boarding about 10 years ago.
For some unknown reason he thinks its fun to crawl around in dark caves.

… My parents are really weird sometimes.

This was last fathers day when my family went to church me and dad went out exploring the basin in the buggy. I was trying to teach dad how to take a selfie… haha
And only my dad would give mom Bunny Ears in my wedding photos. haha

Studio V

Today my mom had an interview for VTV Channel 6.
We got the microphones, lights, and camera all set up and then did the hair and makeup.
I sat back in the interview area for the other shoots and watched the behind the scenes.
She did really good and it only took about 2 hours for the shoot.
It will be broadcasting starting mid June.

Yard & Garden Day

Today we spent all day working on our yard and getting our garden started. We went to the store 5 Times getting supplies. We had to build the garden boxes by hand from nothing but an idea and some boards.

The weather was so perfect today. It was warm but overcast. So yard work wasn't bad and it was nice to be outside enjoying the day together.
We found a ton of lady bugs in our yard, which gives me good hope for our new plants.
