Radars first grooming

Today our fluff mutts got groomed.  This picture makes me laugh so hard because Radar looks like such a weirdo with his naked freakishly long lurpy legs.
This was the first time Radar had ever been to a groomer. I was nervous about how he would behave being almost a year and never being groomed before. But he did really well. Here is a picture of his before his hair cut:
And below is him afterwards. I wasn't sure Michael brought home the right dog at first haha he looks so grown up and different now! He looks like a real schnauzer.
And this is Wesley after his hair cut!  I was so sad though, because I forgot to tell the groomer I wanted to keep his eyelashes! :'( They were SO long and beautiful, I had from them out FOREVER!!! And she didn't know, so she chopped them off. :,(   :,(   :,(
Oh well, hopefully I can get them to eventually grow out again. I'm just happy they are clean.

Flash back Friday

Today Mike and I were going through my old year book and my keepsake box I saved from high school. We found a lot of fun pictures and notes and weird souvenirs I've acquired. It was really fun reminiscing over my high school years and sharing all those memories with Michael. And he had a lot of fun making fun of my nerdy past ;P
This was Homecoming my Senior year. Kara (center, red hair) and Veronica (far right, black hair) were some of my old friends from homeschool life way back from middle school years. We didn't have dates but we didn't want to miss our last homecoming, so we went to the game and the dance together. Believe it or not we didn't coordinate our outfits, we all just showed up wearing deep blues. It was probably one of the most fun school dances I went to.

Here are my student IDs from Sophomore and Senior year. When I look at these pictures I can see the difference in my face from before and after that awful summer when I got really sick and found out how much anxiety was ruining my life. I didn't believe in "Anxiety Disorders" until I had one. But I can tell how much happier and relaxed I became after sophomore year.

Im glad I kept all of these things. Every dance picture, every ticket to an event, random pieces from girls camp or friend trips. I have a box full of memories I can relive over and over.
I wish Michael had more fun memories of High school years and past adventures. But at least he has lots of interesting stories.

Mikes night away

Mike had to go on a work trip to Montana. Im glad we have technology so I can see him when he's gone. We were up talking till almost midnight while he worked so that he could get home today.
Wesley likes to FaceTime too. He was terribly confused as always. But he actually looked in the screen while Mike was talking to him, doing that little head tilt thing lol. He gets worried when Mike doesn't come home at night.

A Walk on the Woodland Trail

Today we took the dogs on a walk though the Woodland Trail.
It might be the last outdoor activity this year with the way the weather is, and we are all low on sunlight and fresh air. Luckily we have a tiny forest planted in the middle of town. Besides the noise from the bypass its as 'Woodsy' as anywhere around here. Besides the ticks (And the random couple "cuddling" by the river bank lol) It is a really nice hiking trail.
