Spring Shooting Adventure

The first warm day of the spring... which is actually winter because it's only early February.  But we all had cabin fever so bad, and needed to get outdoors.

Sundays are becoming Family Shooting Days now. But it's something fun we can all do together. So we to the buggies and gun out.

Ice Skating

He said he's never been on ice before... but l don't believe it. He got the hang of it instantly. However, I am hardly able to stay on my feet.
We had fun though.

Dylan loved using the "walker" to shuffle around on the ice.

Sunday Hiking

Today we got to go out and enjoy some of the oddly warm weather we have had.
We both were in desperate need of some fresh air and nature after being coped up for the last few months.
We both love being outdoors and exploring nature.

It's weird that I thought growing up, when you got married you already knew everything about that person. But I learn some thing new about Mike everyday, and I love it that were young and we get to learn and grow with eachother.
We are both a little crazy, and full of adventure. And each day brings something new for us to experience.

I can honestly say that I am happier now with him than I have ever been in my life. And he will never understand just how amazing and special he is to me.

Mike's new Hobby

Everyone needs a hobby.
Mike has found a love of guns and shooting.
I'm not a fan of them, but I'm learning not to be so scared of them.
It's actually really nice to have something fun to go and do together in our down time.  He is WAY better at it than me though lol.

They had so much fun with Target Practice and blowing up Paint Cans.

Mike is actually really good at Skeet Shooting. I don't like the kick of the Shotgun though.

Our Baby

When we were first together Mike helped me get this dog. I wasn't allowed to have one, but he needed a home and I loved him! So Mike kept the dog at his apartment for me for awhile so I wouldn't have to let him go.

Sometimes I feel like those two are better buddies than Wesley and I are.

I have always had dogs growing up, but never one with so much personality. This dog is my BABY and he never leaves my side. He is SO well behaved, its like he is smart enough to be a person… I think he honestly thinks he's our kid.

He comes everywhere with me, even work. And we never go on an adventure without him.

He is Pretty much the most spoiled dog on the planet, and he knows it.

Nothing in this world means more to me than my two special boys. I love them with all my heart. <3

Our First Christmas

We got married 5 days before Christmas, so this year we didn't have a whole lot of time to do anything big. But it was the first Christmas we got to spend together, and the first holiday as married people.

We decorated our Tree on Christmas Eve. (Level 10 Procrastinators)

Then we got to relax and enjoy movies.

It was cool to combine some family traditions into our own Christmas. 

On Christmas Mike gave me a Pandora Bracelet with 2 beads. The first is a heart charm that looks identical to the charm on a necklace he gave me when we were first together in August. The second bead is the infinity sign because we always say "I love you astronomically Infinity" because that is the biggest quantity we have words for.

Our HoneyMoon

For our Honey Moon we got to spend the night at Daniels Summit Lodge.

Every time we would drive past I always wondered what it would be like inside, but I never imagined it would be this pretty!

It had a very 'Cozy Christmas' Feel. All the halls and rooms were decorated festive.

It didn't snow much at home on our wedding. (Although we got just a few good shots in the sprinkle we did get!) But it really came down on the summit! There was an avalanche that came off the roof that morning.

It was SO beautiful. The trees were all lit up and everything sparkled.

I really hope we get the chance to go back there someday! Hopefully for an anniversary we will get the chance.
