This Summer Weekend.

This Weekend we put spent some time with my family and fixed the buggy.
We took it out last night and drove it through the desert at dusk. We almost got stuck in the sand because our reverse gear wouldn't grab so we couldn't back up. When your only option is to keep going, sometimes you need a wench! Im glad ours works well.
We stopped by a fresh cut hay field on the way home and watched the last of the sun drop behind the mountains.
Then we decided to stay the night on the trampoline and check that off our summer bucket list.
At 3am the neighbors rooster went off and we didn't get much sleep, but the stars looked amazing.

4th of July Weekend

This 4th of July we spent a week up in the mountains by Greens Draw.
The first day we went up, set up our tent, and had just enough time for dinner before it was so dark all we could do was sleep.
The second day we took the buggy out and the rear shock broke. So we went back to town and got parts to AAE it and make it work while we were up there. When we got back to camp I accidentally locked the keys in the truck, with all our food and tools.  It took HOURS to get it unlocked. Luckily the people in the camp next to us were really nice and helped us break in.
The third day all my family came up. And we spent the rest of the week riding the buggy through the trails, rain, and mud. And we went fishing up at the moose ponds.
I didn't take many pictures because I forgot the charger when I was packing. But we had ALOT of fun.
It was cool to visit the place we went camping together with my family last year when we first started dating.
It was a nice vacation.

Today marks 6 Months of Marriage

Today marks 6 months from the day we said "I do"

Even though we have barely experienced a fraction of what marriage can offer we are very happy and looking forward to the rest of our forever.

Camping

This weekend we went camping. But this time we did it right. lol We borrowed the camper, the 4 wheeler, and we went with comfort instead of the tent version.
We found the PERFECT camping spot, which is surprisingly less than half an hour from our home.
After we set up camp we explored tons of ATV trails all over the mountain. Every time we got to the end of one, we found another.
Heres a cute little selfie of us rinding around.
All those little yellow "weed flowers" look beautiful when they are covering a meadow instead of your yard. lol
I don't know how this puddle got its name, but when it evaporates people will be confused by this sign.
We found lots of odd things on our trail rides. Like this random flag pole in literally the middle of nowhere.
And this pile of metal / Artistic statue we randomly came upon. I thought it was some sort of hippie idol but who knows. The oddest part was the random metal thingy sitting behind it on a rock.
???
Of course there were lots of Chickens everywhere.
And while Saturday was sunny and beautiful, Sunday kept scaring us back to camp with thunderstorms. Even though we didn't get to ride around much, taking a nap in the woods listening to the rain is one of the most relaxing things ever.
Sunday night once we packed up and returned home we went out the the Honda hills and rode around in the warm basin weather.

Our Saturday Adventures

Today was the first day we were able to harvest something from our garden. Our spinach was leafy and ready to pick. It tastes SO much better than store spinach, its unbelievable. I'm so proud of our little box garden and plants. Its somewhat fulfilling to produce your own food.

Later this afternoon we went for a drive up to the green river to hike around and enjoy the good weather. It was such a beautiful drive.

There were these horses wandering around together. I dont know if someone owns them or if they are wild. Are there wild horses in Utah anymore?
I found this cute little desert flower growing on this cactus.

After our hike we went to my parents house and found them in the work shop finishing the go cart. They covered the roll bars in foam and were ready to ride.
