He says he's not a dog person

Update on our puppy. He hit 14 weeks old. Next Wednesday he goes in for the rest of his shots, and then we can take him to the dog park for the first time! I will record it when we do go and put it up on our YouTube channel with the rest of the videos of our dogs lol. Its Mike&Me M on YouTube in case you want to look up our channel, the link should also be in the side bar of this blog.
Radar almost died the other day though. He finds the weirdest things in carpet, I don't even know how he finds these things? But he came very close to swallowing a thumb tack!
As you can see below his favorite thing of all is Socks.
Michael says he's not a 'dog person' but I think thats a lie.

Late Night Emergency

Life has a great way of making sure you never feel totally in control. Last night around 8pm I got a call from Michael that he was headed to the emergency room in the closest town by him, which was 130 miles from me at home. He had serious pain in his chest and he was having a hard time breathing. Of course the weather was terrible that night, with black ice everywhere and thick fog. But I wasn't staying at home waiting to hear wether or not he was ok.
It was the scariest drive of my life. On one hand I thought he was going to die, and I couldn't get to him fast enough. And on the other hand I thought I was going to slide off the road or crash and die myself. When I finally got to the Hospital I walked in to find my poor husband like this.
After a couple hours the Dr. concluded that it was not a heart attack and sent us home. Saying he thinks its some sort of 'Pericarditis' and gave him a prescription. Even though he still hurt and theres something not quite right the Dr. said take some aspirin and he should be fine.
We will be going to see a Cardiology specialist for further tests if he still hurts in a few days.

An unexpected surprise

We left on our long drive back home late Saturday night. We only got about 3 hours out when the roads were slick and we got a little uneasy about driving. I had hoped to make it at least 5 hours before stopping for the night, but Michael suggested we stop in the next town. We made a slight detour and ended up in a little town called West Yellow Stone in Montana.
I was not happy to stop then because I knew it just meant an even longer drive for tomorrow, but when I woke up the next morning I was happy we had.

We were in the cutest little town ever! The snow on the sides of the road were up to the windows. And everything was up to its ears in winter. lol. People were riding everywhere on snowmobiles. It was so adorable and so fun. All the people there were nice, and the service was excellent. We instant fell in love with the place. I told Michael we should just abandon our lives and start over in this place.
I think we have a clear decision of where our next vacation will be too. Its so beautiful and rustic. I can't wait to go back!

Another Smith Wedding

On February 5th, Michael's younger brother Harrison got married to the beautiful and sweet Shelby Evans. Their reception was absolutely stunning.

Michael wasn't too impressed with the bowtie he had to wear, but I thought it was adorable. Everyone looked really nice. I can't wait to see the professional photos of the bridal party.
We caught a quick pic with the new bride and groom before we headed out on our journey back home. They are such a cute couple.

Our adventures Home

Feburary 3rd was my Grandma Perrys birthday, so we spent FHE at their house having dinner together. We made cake and all visited and celebrated.
Harley was so thrilled. ;)
My grandma Morton also had a birthday in January, so we all went down and visited her while we were in Utah and had a belated get together.

While we were Vacationing with my family we took the kids to the Rec Center.
Michael and I playing the bubble pop game. He won.
 The kids playing pool.
