We Planned on going to Rapid Waters in Mandan but when we got there the park was at Max capacity so they would only let us in 1 at a time as individuals left the park. So we decided to wait and check out the Rec Center water park in our home town.
Im glad we did because it was just as cool, with way less people.
The boys spent all day going up the stairs and down the slides. They tried each slide and took turns making each adult ride with them.
Im pretty sure Michael had more fun than all the kids put together. It was more fun, sun, and exercise than we had had in awhile.
I've always known I was pale, but looking back at the pictures and videos of this day I was literally the Whitest person in the pool. I was always chasing down everyone to reapply sunscreen like a crazy person, and Im pretty sure I was the only one who managed to get a sunburn. I forgot to reapply sunscreen to myself and burned my legs pretty painfully. However as the burn wore off I was still not left with a tan.
Today was also my moms birthday! I was so excited to get to spend it with her. I made her a cake and everything. But after we got back from 5 hours at the pool we were all so tired, burned, and crazy looking we didn't take a picture with the cake. Im glad she got to spend it with us though.
