After all the time Mike was stuck away busy with work, its been nice that he has been able to take a day or so each weekend now for us to spend quality time together. This weekend was especially nice because we had 3 days, from Friday night to Tuesday Morning, to spend together.
Saturday night had a nostalgic movie night and watched old movies we liked as kids, like The Emperors New Groove and Open Season. We went to Denny's and had a pancake dinner. And took a bunch of pictures with Snapchats weird filters.
Sunday night we made Muffins and built a fort. We discovered we didn't have many blankets in the house, but we made do and I think it turned out pretty sweet. I told him "You know you got an over grown child when you married me." He just laughed and said "Its ok, Its never boring."
He was really tired and didn't feel well (probably my cooking honestly) but he is super adorable when he sleeps. (Shhhh he doesn't know I have this picture).
